Amnon Yariv

An applied physicist and electrical engineer whose innovations in optoelectronics have shaped the development of modern laser and photonic technology. He has spent his career on the faculty at Caltech, where he also earned his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, the last in 1958.
