Practices as an otolaryngologist and directs Thomas Jefferson University Hospital's Facial Aesthetic and Reconstructive Center, alongside a professorship at the university. He has also worked at the intersection of medicine and public health policy, serving on the Biden Cancer Initiative's board and advising the 2020 Biden presidential campaign on its COVID-19 response, and currently serves as chief medical officer at the health-technology investor StartUp Health.
